The shower head and the ceiling mount arm (which holds the head) are connected to a mixer valve you install in the wall. The whole trim kit is included: the rough-in valve body (made of solid brass), the ceiling mount shower arm, the shower head, and a handle/control on the wall to adjust temperature and flow. It comes in several finishes; this one is a popular Matte Black. The shower head has a swivel ball joint so you can angle the rainfall. It's cUPC certified, uses standard 1/2\ NPT connections, and is made with metal and brass components for durability. IMPORTANT: This is a complete system.
