Each set includes one cam fitting (the little metal disc with a hole), one dowel (the wooden peg), and one pre-inserted nut. The dowel is 6mm in diameter and 40mm long. The cam itself is about 15mm across. You drill a hole for the dowel in one panel, screw the nut into the other panel, and then use the cam to lock them together tightly with an Allen key (not included).
