Need to control the flow in a line? This little brass ball valve is a workhorse. It has 8mm hose barbs on both ends (that's about 0.31 inches), perfect for connecting to tubing with an inner diameter of around 5/16 inch or 8mm. The whole valve is made from solid brass, so it's tough, corrosion-resistant, and can handle decent pressure and temperature. The lever handle is coated in rubber for a good grip, and it operates with a simple 180-degree turn – on or off, super straightforward. It's great for all sorts of stuff: garden irrigation systems, air compressor lines, water lines, even some fuel applications. Just slide your tubing onto the barb and secure it with a hose clamp (clamp not included, you'll need to grab those separately). If the tubing is a bit tight, a quick dip in hot water will soften it up for an easier fit. It's a reliable, basic component for a ton of DIY or repair projects.
