Here are the specs you need: each strut has an extended length of 18.5 inches (measured from the center of one ball socket end to the center of the other). When compressed, they're 11.25 inches long. They provide 45 pounds of lifting force per strut, which is the pressure needed to smoothly lift and hold up the heavy shell. The ends have 10mm ball sockets, which is a common attachment style.
