It features Spyder's awesome Rapid Core Eject system: drill your hole, press a button, pull back the saw, and the core pops out - up to 5x faster than messing with prying out cores manually. You can even cut at an angle or use two adapters (sold separately) to enlarge existing holes. The arbor has a 3/8-inch hex drive and comes with a 1/4-inch HSS (high speed steel) pilot bit that works on wood, metal, and plastics. It uses a 1/2-20 thread, fits Spyder Hex8 hole saws, and also works with most standard hole saws that have a 5/8-18 thread. Maximum drilling depth is 2-7/8 inches.
