Is your propane tank top heater refusing to light or stay lit? Before you buy a whole new heater, try replacing the main gas control valve! This MENSI replacement valve is designed to fit many popular brands like Mr. Heater, Dura Heat, and others. It's a low working pressure valve (max 1/2 PSI) that's been CE and CSA tested for safety. This is a thermoelectric valve, which means it needs to work with your heater's thermocouple (that little probe near the pilot light). The kit usually includes the fixing nut and gasket for installation. A quick tip: when installing, make sure the thermocouple tip is in the flame and hold the valve button down for 5-10 seconds before releasing. If your heater's flame still goes out, the thermocouple itself might also need replacing. This part can breathe new life into an old heater and get you warm again.
