RC kit builders, get ready! This is the Tamiya 1/10 scale Ford Escort Custom kit. You get to build the cool, wide-bodied street version of the classic rally car. The body is a 1.0mm thick polycarbonate shell that you get to paint and apply the included decals to yourself (super satisfying). It builds on the famous TT-02 chassis – a super versatile, shaft-driven 4WD platform that's great for beginners and experienced builders alike. The kit includes a brushed 540-type motor and Tamiya's newer TBLE-04S electronic speed controller (ESC) that can even handle certain sensored brushless motors later if you upgrade. You'll also get the white ABS dish wheels and treaded tires. The TT-02 is known for being easy to build, durable, and having a ton of optional 'hop-up' parts available to tweak its performance. You will need to supply your own transmitter/receiver, battery, charger, and paint for the body. If you love the process of building as much as driving, this is a fantastic kit with a really iconic car body.
