Each wick is pre-waxed cotton, about 15 cm (5.9 inches) long, with a small metal tab (sustainer) at the bottom. The tab is about 1.3 cm in diameter and acts as a wick centering device – it helps keep the wick straight and in the middle of your jar or mold while the wax cools. You can easily trim them to your desired length. They're made with heat-resistant glue to stay put in the hot wax.
