Dr. Clere

Dr. Clere practices general surgery in Fairmont, Minnesota. After growing up in rural southern Indiana, he attended college and medical school in Denver, Colorado, where he had a focus on rural medicine and service. He came to Minnesota for the first time for his residency training at Hennepin Healthcare, a Level I trauma center in Minneapolis. Since finishing residency, he has worked in rural hospitals in Minnesota and his practice includes hernia repair, laparoscopic general surgery, and colonoscopies among other skillsets. Minnesota’s weather did not scare him away, and he remains passionate about rural healthcare and treating patients where they live as much as possible.
